Plus ça change...
Some things change!
Philip and Simone Loose
are back in the UK for a while in order to build a solid foundation organisationally and financially for
Phase 2 of Normandy Vision's growing ministry in the region of Normandy in north-west France.
They will spending time
developing administrative and organisational structures for Normandy Vision so that the correct
people and procedures will be in place in order to manage and guide the practical and spiritual aspects
of NV's ministry as it continues to develop and expand. They will also be spending time
talking to churches and Christians in order to explain the work of NV with a view to establishing a much
wider support base throughout the UK and beyond.
It is expected
that this essential work will extend over a period of a few months before Philip and Simone
return to Normandy to continue developing the ministry of NV in that region.
More information on what
changes and personnel will be involved in the new administrative and organisational
structures will be available over the coming weeks. Please pray for Normandy Vision
during this period of transition, that it will result in a better framework for taking
forward the ministry of taking the gospel to the people of Normandy and
building up the faith of believers there.
Plus la même chose...
Some things just keep on going!
Meanwhile,
the work of Normandy Vision is continuing in Normandy. The church at Condé-sur-Noireau
will be continuing to meet regularly, with various people contributing to the practical tasks and
spiritual ministry of this group of God's people meeting together to worship,
to grow and to share in Christian fellowship together. Links with the French congregation
in Condé will also be maintained.
The Ladies Bible Study group,
based in the Cabourg-Houlgate coastal area, will also be continuing to
meet each week. Over the past months new people have joined this group and are
being blessed by meeting to study God's Word together and by belonging to a
group where they can have fellowship and support.
The Carol Service at
Condé will be taking place on Sunday, December 13th at 5pm (French time!). This annual service is a
wonderful opportunity for French- and English-speakers alike to get together to celebrate
Christmas and the coming of Jesus into the world to be our Saviour, and to hear the gospel,
many for the first time.
Please continue to
pray for Normandy Vision's ministry in France over this transitional period. Pray for the people
who will be involved in these events and ministries, for the events and regular meetings that are
planned for the coming weeks.
