Trip to UK
From September 8th to 13th, Philip Loose
will be travelling to the UK for United Beach Missions' Annual Reunion
meeting in Hinckley, Leicestershire, and to a conference entitled Mission in Europe
at the “John Owen Centre” in north London. Pastor Thomas Fohner, from Houlgate
Evangelical Church in Normandy, will be accompanying Philip on this trip.
United Beach Missions, through the agency of their European-focussed section, Missions Vacances, have for many years in the past run a beach mission in August at Houlgate, although they have not been able to run one there for the past two summers. Tom Fohner and Philip Loose will be attending part of the reunion weekend on Saturday, September 9th.
On Monday, September 11th and Tuesday, September 12th, Tom and Philip will be attending the conference entitled Mission in Europe at the “John Owen Centre” in north London. This will be a useful opportunity to hear from people engaged in Christian mission throughout many parts of Europe, and to develop contacts with them.
