Bible Exhibition, Summer 2013

| This
year saw the Sixth Annual Bible Exhibition held at the Temple Protestant,
home of the Evangelical Church in Houlgate. With nearly 340 visitors during the two weeks
that the Expo was open to the public, there were many opportunities for people to learn something about
the Bible and the gospel for themselves. |

| While
many of those who visited the exhibition knew at least something about
the Bible, there were some who did not even know what the Bible was. Into such varying degrees of darkness, the
exhibition was once again able to shine the light of God's word, and we pray that the Holy Spirit will use
that light and transform it into the light that Paul talks about in his second letter to
the church in Corinth: "the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God" and
"the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

| Expo-2013 Reunion Day |
| On Saturday November 16th
we are holding our first Expo Reunion Day at Hillfields Evangelical Baptist Church in Coventry. Following
an early-morning Trustees Meeting, there will be three sessions - and a break for lunch! - in which we will
(1) review this summer's
Exhibition, (2) begin planning for next summer's Exhibition and (3) discuss what can be done to help
Houlgate Evangelical church while they are without a pastor. |
| Please pray
for the Reunion Day, for all those who will be attending it, for wisdom as we review this summer's exhibition and
as we begin to plan for Expo-2014 in Houlgate. Pray for discussions and ideas for helping the church at Houlgate
as they face a difficult period without a pastor and with many problems with the structure and
fabric of the church building that have to be dealt with in the near future. |
