Sunday Services in English
During the summer months there is a ministry to support the many
anglophone tourists who visit the area, which includes visitors from other countries besides
the UK, by the provision of Sunday worship services in English.
We hold regular Sunday morning Worship services in English for Christian tourists that visit the region of Normandy during the summer months of July and August. This ministry is aimed not only at people from the UK or the USA. It also reaches other nationalities, particularly the Dutch, whose second language is English rather than French.

Services are currently held in the seaside town of
Houlgate, where the building in which Houlgate
Evangelical Church meet (shown in the photo on the right) is literally almost on the beach.
There are other areas in Normandy where services in
English would be a beneficial ministry reaching
holidaymakers. A large proportion of those who attend
our services are Dutch. We would like therefore to be able to
at least provide some Dutch-language component to our
services.
